LedgerlyA connected workflow
From source record to customer inbox.
Ledgerly keeps day-to-day billing approachable while retaining the document, delivery, and accounting trail behind it.
Invoices that stay consistent
Create line-backed invoices, apply tax, record payments and credits, publish branded templates, and preserve the exact document issued to a customer.
A clear accounting picture
Follow receivables, payables, cash movement, expenses, journals, and a balanced trial balance without losing the source records behind each number.
Portable business records
Export filtered views to CSV or XLSX and create a complete ZIP package of supported registers. Local data and cloud data remain deliberately separated.
Responsible invoice delivery
Send invoice PDFs and scheduled reminders from an account your organization connects, with editable templates, retries, and a visible delivery history.
Optional Gmail connection
Why Ledgerly asks for Gmail send access.
Ledgerly lets an authorized organization owner connect a Google account so invoices and configured reminders can be sent from that organization’s own Gmail address. The connected account remains in control and can be disconnected at any time.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.sendConnect deliberately
Ledgerly requests OpenID and email identity to confirm the sender, plus the narrow Gmail send-only permission. Connecting Gmail is separate from signing in with Google.
Send visible business messages
The permission is used only for invoice and reminder emails that a user queues or enables in Ledgerly. A branded invoice PDF can be attached, and the outcome appears in delivery history.
No mailbox reading
Ledgerly does not request access to read, search, download, modify, or delete Gmail messages. It does not request Google Contacts, Drive, or Calendar data.
Protected and revocable
The Gmail refresh token is encrypted before database storage. Disconnecting asks Google to revoke it and prevents Ledgerly from using that connection for future sends.
